How are you hanging in there parents? I know the days can feel long and full of humbling moments. We're all feeling challenged in one way or another right now.

When we take our daily walk, we say a friendly "how ya' doin'" to everyone we pass. We usually get a "cute dog" or "cute baby" in response, but when it's another parent out with their kids, we might just get a panicked look, a sigh (not one of relief), and there was that one time when we were told we're lucky to just have one kid right now.

I've definitely had my moments, but I'm trying my hardest to remain grateful. Grateful for all the extra time we get together, grateful to be saving money, grateful for my husband's job, and even in the moments when I lose my cool... grateful for the opportunity to grow in patience and kindness.

Search for those hidden blessings and try to stay on the bright side. How's everyone doing? Being a work-from-home mom, social distancing hasn't completely derailed me. But, I have missed our daily outing/errand just to break up the day a bit. This week has required a little more creativity keeping my toddler happily occupied thanks to rainy days, but we survived and this mama is ready for a little self-care this weekend.

There's something so satisfying about a bath, adult beverage + book or podcast after getting Addison down for bed. I also take time to pamper myself and exfoliate, not skip any steps in my skincare routine, and maybe even do a beauty treatment like an eye lash perm (see my Beauty Highlight) or teeth whitening. What's your favorite way to treat yourself? .
