Inspiration shoots are meant for just that – inspiration, not necessarily duplication. But if I were an October bride, I’d have a hard time not wanting my wedding to be as gorgeous as this Style Me Pretty Hocus Pocus wedding inspiration or this All Hallows’ Eve wedding inspiration as seen on Green Wedding Shoes. We love a good themed inspiration shoot, and a Halloween wedding sounds beautifully spooktacular!
Halloween Wedding Inspiration
These examples show us in a big picture way what a cohesive wedding brand looks like, but that doesn’t mean you have to take each element literally – you don’t want your wedding decor to become overdone or cliché.
There are some elements of Halloween that can work really for a wedding, like candy for example. Candy
and dessert bars are currently a popular wedding trend, so playing into this idea of Halloween candy could work if implemented in a way that still says wedding. Place glass cake plates and jars filled with your favorite Halloween candy around your cake to create a dessert bar that ties in your theme.
Pumpkins and the use of other Halloween items can also work. We love these mini pumpkins as jack-o-lantern table numbers or as vases for your fall flower centerpieces. How about a lace wrapped pumpkin for Halloween wedding decor? Fore more inspiration, see our Halloween Wedding Brand board on Pinterest.
The color palette of black and orange can even be beautiful, if used in small doses and not necessarily side by side. We’ve even seen beautiful black wedding dresses!
Incorporate black into your wedding cake, and orange into your bridal party’s ensembles for example. You don’t have to go all out and throw a costume party with fake spider webs – unless that’s your style and personality. Keep in mind that less truly is more. If you remember this, you can have a beautiful event no matter what kind of wild and spooky theme you choose!
