Well, we did good for the first 8 months of our little one’s life! But, sadly little man is sick for the second time this cold and flu season. And this mama is starting to come down with it again too! I’m doing everything I can to keep myself well so I can take care of him. And one thing that soothed my throat last time that I’m looking forward to indulging in again this time – turmeric hot chocolate! This is the perfect dessert drink to sip on while snuggling up on the couch. Or, because it has protein, it’s also a good snack any time of the day! It’s healthy, guilt-free, dairy-free (which is important for me as I’m breastfeeding and Addison has a milk protein intolerance), cold-fighting, and delicious!
I’d love to share my Turmeric Hot Chocolate Recipe below in hopes of it helping you fight off sickness (or get over it quicker) this cold and flu season. I also think this would be delicious with a splash of my homemade vanilla extract!
