Designed as a four-act opera inspired by the elements, the day beautifully reflected their love of nature, music, and culture—while honoring family through a heartfelt Chinese tea ceremony.

From a candlelit cliffside ceremony framed by lush white blooms (Act I: Earth), to a mesmerizing “swimming” acrobat in the banana garden and a seaside aperitivo (Act II: Water), each moment unfolded like a performance. Dinner beneath the pergola embodied Air, with flowing drapery and aerialists soaring above candlelit tables. The evening culminated in Fire—dancing on the terrace and surprise fireworks lighting up the Italian sky.

Claire & Jake’s wedding weekend was joyful, vibrant, and unapologetically fun—an immersive celebration inspired by the colorful streets and rich artistry of San Miguel de Allende. The festivities began with a spirited callejoneada through town, complete with towering mochigongas, mariachi, and even Benito the donkey, before guests gathered at Casa Cariño for a festive welcome party featuring a beautiful Mexican spread, paletas, karaoke, and a spontaneous late-night swim.

Throughout the weekend, every detail felt deeply personal—from the bride’s heirloom and borrowed pieces at the welcome party to her Ines Di Santo gown, antique family earrings, and vibrant bouquet on the wedding day. Bright florals paired with classic talavera blues set the tone, while signature cocktails (especially their beloved hibiscus mezcalina) kept the celebration lively. The couple made a dance-floor entrance to “Volare” by the Gipsy Kings, instantly filling the night with energy that never faded, ending with late-night churros and tacos—an unforgettable finale to a weekend defined by color, culture, and pure celebration.

2025 wasn’t exactly pretty. It was a year of surrender and unknowns.

There were moments that felt like loss and grief—but even more that felt like love and grace. While I’m not quite ready to publicly share everything I’ve walked through or how it’s shaping what’s next, some of you already know. I’m deeply thankful for your prayers, encouragement, and steady presence 🤍

Looking back now with clearer eyes, I can finally see the growth that came through the grief.

I traveled to places deeply sentimental to my family. Celebrated a wedding with childhood best friends. Cheered on my son’s two seasons of baseball. Learned new gardening skills. Focused on healing—inside and out. Became silicone-free. Worked with my hands to make this place home. Grew in my faith alongside true sisters in Christ. And a career highlight—landing a magazine cover for a celebrity wedding.

It wasn’t pretty. But it was beautiful.

And as I step into 2026, I do so with confidence knowing the Lord is making my path straight.
