When it came time to celebrate their wedding weekend, there was only one place that felt right. Carmel had long been woven into Megan's family history, with generations vacationing there, honeymooning there, and even getting engaged on the very beach where guests gathered for the welcome party. It was the perfect way to welcome loved ones into a weekend centered on family, tradition, and the place that meant so much to them.

The story came full circle after Chris proposed at a park Megan grew up visiting before surprising her with family and friends waiting back on the BeltLine in Atlanta.

Inspired by the Spanish architecture of the Carmel

Inspired by the Spanish architecture of the Carmel Mission Basilica and the natural beauty of Mission Ranch, Megan envisioned a wedding that embraced rich color, texture, and romance.

With red as her favorite color, she leaned away from the expected soft summer palette in favor of something moodier. Vibrant red roses became the thread that tied every detail together—from the invitations and envelope liners to the cake, florals, and even the rose-patterned bridesmaid dresses.

Blue tones layered throughout the celebration added depth and texture, while substantial silver accents, patterned linens, and contrasting fabrics created a design that felt timeless, dramatic, and unmistakably personal.

Every thoughtful detail reflected the couple's vision: bold, romantic, and deeply rooted in family, tradition, and unforgettable style. 🌹

Before saying "I do," Madeleine and Josef welcomed their loved ones with an intimate gathering that celebrated the beauty of slowing down and savoring time together. Knowing their family and friends would be traveling from around the world, the couple intentionally planned a destination wedding experience that prioritized connection over just a single day.

Guests were introduced to the breathtaking French estate while enjoying an Italian-inspired welcome dinner. With candlelit tables, incredible food, and meaningful conversations, the evening set the tone for the celebration to come.

Inspired by Madeleine's green sapphire engagement ring, the wedding design embraced a soft palette of whites, blush tones, and lush seasonal peonies, allowing the beauty of the venue to shine. Guests were treated to an unforgettable weekend filled with exquisite French scenery, a multi-course dinner, a profiterole tower in place of cake, and a surprise fireworks display beneath the château sky.

Every detail reflected the couple's love story—from their proposal overlooking the coast of Sardinia to the sentimental music selections that honored family traditions.
